Antelope Hills FAQ’s

What are your hours of operation?

Antelope Hills is open daily following seasonal hours. Our practice facilities and the Manzanita Grill follow seasonal hours, typically opening 30 minutes before the first tee time. The Manzanita Grille closes at 3pm Saturday – Thursday and stays open until 7pm on Friday.

How can I book a tee time? 

You can book tee times online through our official booking portal. Booking online provides the most up-to-date availability and the best public rates.

How far in advance can I book a tee time?

General public tee times can be booked up to 7 days in advance. Members and those with specific passholder status may have extended booking windows.

Do you offer golf lessons or clinics? 

Yes, we have PGA professionals on staff offering private instruction, group clinics, and specialized junior programs. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your handicap, we have a program for you.

Are carts available, and is there a cart fee?

Yes, we have a full fleet of power carts available. Cart fees are typically included in our “Daily Fee” rates, but please confirm your specific rate type during the booking process.

Do you provide rental clubs or other equipment?

We offer rental clubs for both men and women. Please call the golf shop in advance of your time to reserve a set.

Is there a dress code?

No tank tops for men or offensive t-shirts.  Jeans are accepted.

Do you have practice facilities (driving range, putting green)?

Antelope Hills features a complete practice complex, including a full-grass driving range, multiple putting greens, and a dedicated short-game area for chipping practice.

Are children allowed on the course?

Yes! We are a family-friendly facility and encourage junior golfers. We ask that all children are accompanied by an adult and maintain the standard pace of play.

Do you have water stations on the course?

Yes.  Located at each restroom on the golf course. 

What types of tournaments or events are hosted at Antelope Hills? 

Men’s and Ladies Leagues, charity events and junior events.

Are there twilight or weekday specials at Antelope Hills?

Yes, we offer reduced rates for Twilight rounds 7 days a week and a Senior rate after 11:00 am Monday – Thursday.

Does Antelope Hills have on-site dining or a bar?

Yes, the Manzanita Grill is a local favorite in Prescott. It features a full bar, a large outdoor patio with course views, and a diverse menu serving breakfast, lunch, and Friday Fish Fry dinner.

Is there a pro shop at Antelope Hills? What do they offer?

Our Pro Shop carries a wide selection of top-tier brands like Titleist, FootJoy, and Callaway. We offer professional club fitting, and a variety of Antelope Hills branded apparel.

Are there any unique features of Antelope Hills?

We offer two distinct 36-hole experiences: the North Course, a traditional parkland-style layout with lush trees, and the South Course, which offers a more modern links-style feel with wide-open vistas of the surrounding mountains.

Do you issue rain checks or refunds for cancellations? 

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Rain checks are issued if the course becomes unplayable due to inclement weather, prorated based on the number of holes completed. 

Can I book online or only by phone?

While our golf shop can assist you via phone, we recommend booking online for the fastest service and the most transparent view of available tee times across both courses.

How busy is the course on weekends?

Tee Times are in high demand every day, especially during the cool Prescott summers. We recommend booking your tee time exactly 7 days out to ensure your preferred start time.

Do you allow riders that are not playing golf? 

Yes, for an additional $25 rider fee.

Do you allow food and beverages to be carried on? 

NO outside alcohol.  Water and snack items are allowed.

What is the difficulty of the course? 

The North Course is known for its narrow fairways and mature trees, requiring more precision. The South Course is more forgiving off the tee but features challenging green complexes, providing a great balance for all skill levels. 

Do your golf cars have GPS?

No, but we do suggest downloading our mobile app that has a GPS feature.

Do you pair groups of less than 4?

Yes, to maximize course capacity and maintain a proper pace of play, twosomes and singles will be paired together during busy periods.
